The army goes hunting for werewolves. They send some soldiers out to get some werewolf blood. One of the soldiers decides that he can't wait to get the werewolf party started and injects himself with the blood. He is promptly killed for being stupid. Years later, the army decides that it would be really cool to throw some armor on the dead werewolf corpse and see what happens. Project: Metalbeast is born and ready to rumble.

If there's one thing B-movies have taught me, it's that scientific experiments rarely work out the way you want them to. Personally, I think putting impenetrable armor on a giant werewolf is a reasonable idea. I was shocked to see that the monster didn't do exactly what the scientists wanted. OK, I wasn't shocked at all. Monstrous lab experiments always attack the daydreaming scientists. It's a B-movie law. I found "Project: Metalbeast" to be a pretty cool werewolf wearing body armor kind of flick. It had blood, guts, and a metallic werewolf. That's all I truly need. I enjoyed myself.

SCORE: 2 out of 4 Metalbeasts
