Sarah Polley and some other people head to the mall. She's having a serious zombie problem. First, they screw up her sex life when her hubby gets the zombie chomp on his neck. This happens at Dawn. A Dawn of the Dead if you will. [Note: If a strange little girl is staring at you from your bedroom door, she's probably a member of the living dead and should be killed as quickly as possible. Keep this important safety tip handy for future reference.] Then the zombies follow her to that bastion of goodness, the local mall. It's here that humanity's last hope must make their stand. Much violence follows as the hyper zombies want blood, brains and Polley. Who can blame them?
"Dawn of the Dead" was a great horror movie. However, if you loved the original "Dawn of the Dead", you'll probably hate this one. The zombies of 2004 do a lot more running and jumping than their older versions. In fact, these people are probably more physically fit dead than they were alive. The new "Dawn" is more concerned with action thrills than sending any sort of message about zombie consumers. It worked for me! I prefer a more active member of the living dead. Makes them scarier if I think they can catch me.
"Dawn of the Dead" hums right along and gives the audience the zombie carnage it craves. There are many fine, fine gore scenes. I won't ruin them here. Suffice to say, you get your money's worth with this one. That's all you can ask of any movie.
SCORE: 3.5 out of 4 Polley hungry zombies

in a few months sarah polley will be 30 years old, (12 years past her peak, alas), and you woundn`t really think of her as an obvious babe but for a long time now i`ve had a bit of an obsession with her, and perhaps more specifically with wanting to bugger her, theres something so sensuous and sexy about that bird. Now, onto this remake, well i didn`t think it was as good as romero`s original, (although i think that film has always been a tad over-rated), but it was still damn good fun, but maybe i didn`t enjoy it as much as i should have because all i was really thinking about was...thats right...you guessed it...SARAH POLLEYS ARSE !!!. And why did there have be a woofter in the film, that almost spoilt it for me, i am the "sneering (homo-phobic) snob" and i dont want to see faggots in horror movies, (or anywhere else for that matter). Now after that bit of unpleasantness lets get back to something quite magical, female zombies in general, i`ve always had this fantasy about buggering a sexy 18 year old girl zombie while she is still in full zombie make-up, that would be something special, i think you`ll agree.
I've always had a thing for Sarah Polley as well. There's a shot from "No Such Thing" that shows off her cleavage in a S&M outfit while a monster stands behind her. It's a winner. Her main sex appeal is that she doesn't look like every other blonde you see. See "Go" for some good times with Polley.
I've only had one zombie fantasy and that was from "Land of the Dead". There was a female zombie in a football jersey that I thought looked pretty hot for a rotting corpse.
