A vampire moves next door to a horror movie fan. Wow. Wouldn't that be great? Unfortunately they don't get along. Soon the teen must convince his friends and the host of his favorite horror show to help him get rid of his undead next door neighbor. Vampire violence follows.

I always appreciate the attention paid to the legends of the vampire. You know, vampires can't see their reflection, holy water hurts them, sunlight kills them, stake through the heart etc. Too many movies come out and say something stupid like, "Forget what you've seen in the movies! This is how it's done!". "Fright Night" stays true to the legend and makes it much more enjoyable.

"Fright Night" is a very fun movie. This movie moves ahead without any slow spots. Vampire moves next door and the hero must kill him. Bingo. Here we go. Also, Chris Sarandon makes a great vampire. Cool and confident. Great flick.

SCORE: 4 out of 4 neighborly vampires
